Credit Terms – ServiceTasker Canada
1. Overview
These Credit Terms govern the purchase, use, and refund of credits and wallet funds on the ServiceTasker.ca platform. By purchasing, earning, or using credits, you agree to follow these terms in addition to our general Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Credits are used to purchase job opportunities and unlock details to help your business grow within the ServiceTasker marketplace.
2. Definitions
For clarity:
- Credits: Digital tokens awarded by ServiceTasker that can be used to pay for leads.
- Wallet Funds: The balance you deposit in your ServiceTasker Wallet, which can be used to buy credits or job opportunities.
- Promotional Credits: Free or bonus credits provided by ServiceTasker (e.g., during sign-up, referral programs, or promotions).
- Lead Purchase: The act of using credits to unlock a customer’s job details.
- Refundable Funds: Deposited wallet funds that have not yet been used.
- Non-Refundable Credits: Credits issued by ServiceTasker (promotional or otherwise) that cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or redeemed for cash.
3. Purchasing & Earning Credits
- Purchasing: Users can add funds to their ServiceTasker Wallet (e.g., $100 CAD) and use those funds to purchase credits.
- Earning: Credits may also be issued as part of promotions, referral programs, or dispute resolution adjustments.
- Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards and other secure online payment options provided at checkout.
Documenting these steps helps us review your claim quickly and approve refunds without delays.
4. Credit Usage
Credits can only be used within the ServiceTasker.ca platform to:
- Unlock customer job leads.
- Access premium features or promotional packages (if available).
Restrictions:
- Credits cannot be transferred to another user.
- Credits cannot be redeemed for cash, exchanged, or reloaded.
- Credits are limited to platform usage only.
5. Expiry & Validity
- Credits issued by ServiceTasker have a fixed validity period.
- Unless otherwise stated at the time of issuance, credits expire 15 days from the date they are provided.
- Expired credits cannot be reinstated under any circumstances.
6. Refund & Exchange Policy
- Refundable: Only unused wallet funds (money deposited but not yet spent on credits or leads) are eligible for a refund. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
- Non-Refundable:
- Any credits used to purchase jobs or leads.
- Promotional credits or free credits issued by ServiceTasker.
- Expired credits.
Refund requests can be made by contacting us. Processing may take 5–10 business days.
7. Genuine Customer Guarantee (Credit Refunds)
ServiceTasker is committed to providing real and responsive customer leads. If you purchase a lead and the customer never responds despite genuine attempts to connect, you may be eligible for a credit refund under our Genuine Customer Guarantee.
- You must attempt to contact the customer using all available details.
- Customers may take up to 72 hours to reply—allow a reasonable time before submitting a claim.
- Claims will be reviewed by ServiceTasker, and if verified, the credits will be returned to your account.
8. Account Suspension or Closure
- If your account is suspended for violating our Terms and Conditions, any remaining credits or wallet funds may be forfeited.
- If you choose to close your account voluntarily, you may request a refund of unused wallet funds (excluding promotional credits).
9. Amendments to Credit Terms
ServiceTasker reserves the right to update or modify these Credit Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated via the platform, email, or other appropriate channels. Continued use of the platform after changes implies your acceptance of the updated terms.
